Oh. My. Gosh! Dave Wickham has been busy during all these snow and ice storms we’ve been having and oh man, did he ever knock it outta the ballpark with this one!
This is a BEAUTIFUL Smokey Bisbee Turquoise Lariat with a handmade paperclip chain! Dave made the pendant parts and I made the chain. There’s 5 wonderful Bisbee stones in this and they’re all attached by the paperclips which are made with 12g round wire and a 16g twisted wire wrap. This is a wonderful piece!
He set all the stones in sterling silver with scalloped bezels and then put a twisted wire surround on all those. This piece measures about 23″ long and then has a drop of 7″ at the lariat. It lays perfectly so you don’t have to worry about the stones turning with your movement… they just all move with you. The center stone has some pits in it but that’s to be expected with natural stones that are not stabilized. This is a wonderful, wonderful piece of art!!
