You guys! Dave has been busy this week and has turned out this Royston turquoise pendant that’s to die for!!! The matrix in this is both dark and light brown and the turquoise is green that matches just perfectly. Dave set this in sterling silver and put a serrated bezel around the whole thing. Then he put a berry wire surround on it with an oversized bail. That will accommodate up to 15mm beads. I wish, wish, wish I could capture the beauty of this in my pictures but I’m sure you’re not going to be able to tell just how wonderful this is in person.
I have it hung on a handmade strand of sterling silver Navajo Pearls. They are 9mm, 20 1/2″ long and have a satin finish. They are signed by the artist, who is Bryannen Halwood. This is such a nice pendant, you’ll want to hang it on some really nice Pearls.
We dug this turquoise in Tonapah, NV, last year with Dallynn Otteson at Ottesonbrothersturquoise. That is the only place in the world Royston is found and we dug it in the Tiffany mine.
